Overview--A great shop--really one of the standard bearers. Obviously a shop owned by Joe Gibbs has some things to offer that other places can't--namely, three Super Bowl rings. There's a decent amount of football memorabilia here, as well as some focus on Gibbs' first two drivers, Dale Jarrett and Bobby Labonte, as well as Tony Stewart.

Ratings--
To See and Do: 4 there's cars out front, a nice movie on the history of JGR playing near the viewing area, and lots and LOTS of memorabilia.  There's also a movie playing on repeat in the theater to the right of the lobby, showing recent highlights and how a car gets built from start to finish.
Accessibility: 4 A glass-enclosed viewing area gives a nice overview of the garage. The viewing area is above the garage itself, so you'll be able to see a decent amount.  A nice touch--there's rocking chairs in the viewing area.

Gift Shop: 5 lots and LOTS of stuff here, from the expensive to the free. You can probably spend about half-an-hour just wandering the gift shop (and no, you don't have to spend anything to enjoy it).  There are even free lug nuts!
Friendliness of Staff: 5 everyone was very polite and let me wander around.

Insider Tip: On weeks after race wins, there'll be crossed-checkered flags on display by the race-winning (show) car.

Insider Tip: Most of the shop crew goes on break from 11:30am-12:30pm, so avoid going during that time (especially if you want to see work being done).  Also, the best day to come, by far, is Tuesday.

Insider Tip: Ask the person behind the gift-shop counter for hero cards.

Insider Tip: The receptionist can open the trophy cases if you'd like a picture without glare.

Final Verdict--See it. Though its a little out of the way, its worth it.
